Perhaps you can put a sampling of your data into this spreadsheet to illustrate your question.
We’ll start with the date on the X Axis and show how to change those values. I cannot create a similar effect on the line chart because a line chart cannot work divisions smaller than 1 day. Similar to what we did in Excel, we can do the same in Google Sheets. I have specifically formatted the x axis of the scatter chart so that the major division axis labels will show different times of day. I don't know if it will help, but this is a copy of a spreadsheet with random data that I created to illustrate for someone else the diifference between scatter and line and how they treat date/time serials.
Then perform the date/time arithmetic using Excel's serial numbers. Here is Excel 2010's list of date/time functions: Perhaps you could go back to the point before "adding" the time to the date and use the datevalue and timevalue functions to convert them to serial numbers. Selecting 'Format Axis' for the x axis, when I try to set 'Value (Y) axis crosses at category number:' to zero, an error message appears 'The number must be between 9. Own the Scale tab you can set the minimum etc. Begin by selecting the Table Named Range (TNR) that contains the target. Right click the axis, select Format Axis.
Once placed, click on the chart to define its properties from the properties menu. I don't remember if it skips multiple empty bins or shows them all, I'll have to check at the office, but data should always start on a multiple of the range + the underflow value. What format is your date/time data? Are they text strings? Date/time serials? Other? Inserting a chart into the web interface can be done by dragging and dropping a Chart module from the context menu into the staging area of the User Interface Designer. If you turn underflow bin on and set it to 0, the chart will start there. This is where not having an example of your data will make it really difficult to debug your solution. Dont worry, you havent done anything wrong, it is just Excel trying to fit the horizontal axis labels into the smaller chart.
